This year our annual meeting will be held at Cisco Meraki in London on Tuesday 19 November 2024.

Autumn 2024 Roundtable

Date: Thursday 12 September

Time: 1.00pm arrivals for 1.30pm start, ending at around 5.00pm

Venue: Jisc, 6th Floor Broadhurst House, 56 Oxford Street, Manchester M1 6EU

We are holding this roundtable in Manchester to make it easier for people who might normally find it harder to get to a London meeting to join us.

  • Introductions
  • Deployment reports from attendees
  • A brief update on IETF topics at IETF 120 in July
  • IPv6 home networking – How ISPs can ensure users maximise the potential benefits of IPv6 (current challenges seen with a typical ISP IPv6 deployment on home routers)

15:30 – 17:00 Afternoon session 2

  • Open discussion – other topics attendees wish to raise (e.g. IPv6 Multihoming, Developing software with IPv6)
  • Future priorities for the IPv6 Council
